Clinical Dietitian Marcia Wirth joined Tom Katz on "Here's to Your Health" to introduce the upcoming Kewanee 'Community Health Series' hosted by the Kewanee Public Library. Launching on March 18th, this promising initiative aims to foster community connectivity through a range of innovative nutrition programs. Sparked by growing awareness around diet and wellness, the series aspires to empower individuals with knowledge and practical tips for healthier living. The series, featuring discussions on various health topics, kicks off on March 18, 2025, from noon to 1 PM, with "Food Connects Us," presented by dietetic intern Kayla Jasperson. Each session in the series will meet in the second-floor community room at the Kewanee Public Library, which you can access from the front door and the elevator.
Each event offers lunch for $5, payable at the door. Reservations are essential and can be arranged by contacting the Kewanee Clinic. Secure your spot by contacting the clinic at 309-853-3677 or emailing hhhfound@hammondhenry.com. Please include the number of guests attending with your reservation. The Kewanee Clinic is open from 7 AM to 4 PM.
