Members of the Galva Rotary have partnered with the Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for a public private partnership to repair the historic fence surrounding Bishop Hill Park. On Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday, June 5th, Rotary Club members, Tim Black and Mike Massie joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to discuss the project, how it started, and how they are raising funds to complete this historic renovation. There is currently a GoFundMe campaign, linked here, and there will be a Trivia Night Fundraiser on June 22nd at the Kewanee Elks Club. Doors open at 6 PM and the cost is $100 per team. A silent auction and 50/50 drawing will be held that night as well. All money raised will go toward the building materials for the fence. You can make reservations for the fundraiser by calling Rachel at 309-337-4849 or email rachel@Massielaw.net.
