Carrie and Danielle dropped by Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday to promote Quarter Madness this Friday night. Doors open at 5:30 at the Kewanee Elks Lodge and the fun and excitement of Quarter Madness begins at 6:30 PM. You can buy Gold and Platinum Paddles which will get you in on every auction throughout the evening or get a white paddle and use your quarters to place your bid on the stuff you really want at Quarter Madness. It's been a little while, but Jock Hedblade from Visit Unforgettable Forgottonia is back in the studio to talk about the highly-anticipated unveiling as the Downtown Macomb Square turns into the "World's Largest Monopoly Game" on May 9th, 2024.

It'll be a fun day as the brand-new Monopoly-styled game piece statues are revealed and the new Macombopoly app is launched, allowing everyone to play the game and learn about the popular game and it's inventor, Macomb native Lizzie Magie.

Jock also dishes some early details about this year's Heritage Days, including the musical acts that will be performing during the celebration.
