There are many myths that have built up around serial killer Ted Bundy. The public imagination indicates that he was handsome and charming, a supposed ladies man. The reality is far different. He was a loser. Consistently, Ted Bundy wasn't charming. His murders were brutal and never the result of seduction or charm. He was violent and ruthless. He's been played by superstar actors in movies which lends him a persona of glamour. But author Kathy Rubin Rubin Kleiner is dispelling the myths and legends of popular culture. Her book, A Light in the Dark, is about the victims of Ted Bundy and their stories are not about his charm, his charisma, or his good looks. They are stories of a brutal, violent, and desperate creep. And Kathy Rubin Kleiner knows this first hand. Kathy herself, survived being attacked by Ted Bundy.
