The Henry County Board met on Thursday, October 20th and among the highlights, the board placed a two year hold on the idea of a CO2 Pipeline that was planned to go through Henry County. A number of Henry County residents had come together to oppose the CO2 pipeline and many of them were in attendance at Thursday's meeting to advocate for a moratorium on the pipeline plan while regulations on such plans are put in place and more safety concerns are addressed. The Board also celebrated a new Tourism position in Henry County. Henry County Board Chair Kippy Breeden, Henry County Administrator Erin Knackstedt, and Henry County Economic Development Director Jim Kelly joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Friday to wrap up Thursday's meeting.
